Download Windows 8 pre-beta version (Developer)

Seperti pada versi Windows sebelumnya, Microsoft memperbolehkan masyarakat untuk mendownload dan mencoba mencoba Windows 8 pre-beta version beta sebelum dirilis secara resmi. Namun ada hal menarik tentang Windows 8 pre-beta version ini.

Awalnya Microsoft tidak mengizinkan masyarakat luas untuk mendownload Windows beta ini terkecuali  developer yang sengaja diundang untuk mencoba dan bekerja sama serta mengembangkan Windows 8, dengan tujuan agar produk mereka support atau include sistem windows 8 nantinya. Tetapi sekarang microsoft sudah mengizinkan secara penuh kepada siapa saja tidak hanya developer untuk mendownload dan menginstall Windows 8 secara bebas, sejak tanggal 13 September 2011 melalui website berikut.

Terdapat tiga file berformat iso(installer) Windows 8 beta, yang terdapat di halaman download antara lain.

1. Windows 8 Developer Preview  with developer tools English, 64-bit(x64)

All of the following come on a disk image file (.iso). See below for installation instructions.

System Requiretments :

The Windows 8 Developer Preview works great on the same hardware that powers Windows Vista and Windows 7:

·         1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit

·         (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB

·         RAM (64-bit) 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit) DirectX 9  graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

·         Taking advantage of touch input requires a screen that supports multi- touch

·         To run Metro style Apps, you need a screen resolution of 1024 X 768 or greater
